Reimers Electra Steam, Inc. has been a manufacturer of commercial and industrial electric steam boilers and generators since 1908. Our electric steam boilers products are utilized for high and low pressure steam applications, such as garment pressing, jewelry cleaning, medical sterilizers, pressing irons, steam rooms, air humidification, baking ovens and many others. Our electric boilers are used in garages, factories, laboratories, hospitals, and anywhere saturated steam is required.

Electric boilers are very efficient. They are compact (miniature) and require no venting. Dry steam is discharged directly from the electric boiler for a quick, efficient operation. The saturated steam from our boilers can be controlled as to pressure, which will vary the temperature and BTU transfer of the steam. We offer a variety of models from 1.5 to 750kW with carbon steel pressure vessels and 1.5 to 120kW in all stainless steel design to match any steam application.

Reimers UL category covers electrically heated steam and hot water boilers that are within the scope of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes, Volume I (Power Boilers) and Volume IV (Heating Boilers). This category may also include water heaters if, based on water temperature, input rating, or water tank capacity, they fall under the scope of the above ASME codes. The pressure vessels of these appliances are constructed and stamped in accordance with the applicable section of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The boilers are equipped with necessary temperature- or pressure-regulating and limit controls and with the appropriate ASME-rated pressure relief devices, and are marked with the appropriate ASME symbol. This category also covers fixed industrial process heating equipment employing electric resistance or electrode heating technology used in accordance with Article 425 of NFPA 70, "National Electrical Code."
