Condensate tanks come in many sizes, and can help reduce the delta temperature needed to produce steam in the boiler. Energy is saved and water usage reduced. Reimers tanks have ability to take high temperature and operate at low head. When it comes time to blowdown the vessel to remove solids and other unwanted content a tank with no vent can be quite economical. The vessel contents are contained with no expulsion of hot water or steam. This is much safer for all.
