A project site has many fixed and variable conditions. Costs come in many forms. An electric boiler should use less floor space than any other boiler type. There is no fuel tank, piping tree, chimney or other fossil related parts. Maintenance required for electric boilers is limited. Heating elements may need changed out or cleaned. With electric systems that is very infrequent. Diesel requires tanks to be purged of condensation, filters changed, and chimneys inspected and cleaned. Power released to heat the water in a boiler is often limited in diesel burners to being on or off, or has a limited partial power level. Electric boilers have ability to infinitely release power to the water by controlling the kilowatts per each heating element if desired. Accurate monitor and control of an electric boiler is possible using a BMS or remote controlling system called a Bacnet or other. Reimers has electric boilers with these options available.
