Reimers offers an SSR option to soften the power entering the boiler. Combined with staging of elements this SSR trims power as needed rather than the traditional on - off of contactors. Contactors are noisy, the SSR is silent. The SSR circuit is assisted by staging on additional elements when the steam or water load is significantly increased.
