What does all this mean? With an electric power source the difference is minimal to none. Electric Boilers or "Steam Generators" come in sizes from as small as a miniature microwave all the way to many thousand pounds and the size of a road vehicle. In all models the water enters a chamber, is heated, expands to steam and is released to the use point. There are no tubes in the boiler or extra chambers. Jewelers use Reimers' small boilers as bench units. Other markets are hat steamers using the same small "Boiler" near the point of use. Safety is always important, all of Reimers products are ASME designed, UL tested. Not all competition can claim this.
