The boiler in the photo is a 600 KW. Operating pressure is 10 psi. The boiler has multiple 30 KW elements that can be staged to come on and off in a sequence to balance service time on all the elements. The staging is preferred to having many elements engage at the same time. Any effort to save on power demand is good for the bottom line. Reimers also offers SCR control for additional fine control of the demand load. The SCR acts as a ramping device from 0 to 30 KW to trim the fluctuating load.
