Reimers know about hybrid boiler design, electricity demand costs, and ways to offset changing fuel costs and changing boiler output energy. With the electrical side, Reimers offers SCR power modulation in one or more stages. This SCR control provides a very high turn down, and only allows just enough power to be consumed to equal the demand. When electricity is lower cost the boiler will use it more, when electricity is higher cost the boiler can use more gas or oil for heating. Operators can also change the set points for fuel ratio at the boiler or remotely.
